Why it suits a sleepover
- Works with three to six children who solve one trail together.
- Indoor, after dark, and no louder than a board game.
- You choose the last spot, so the hunt can end exactly where the next activity starts.
- Riddles and mini puzzles on the Detective level keep 7 to 10-year-olds busy without a screen.
Sample sleepover clues
- Sleeping bags: Bibi zipped up tight for a midnight show, check the sleeping bags, row by row!
- Popcorn cupboard: Bibi heard a pop and a pop and a pop, the snack cupboard is the next stop!
- Bathroom mirror: Bibi struck a pose with star-shaped flair, the bathroom mirror has a clue to share!
Plan it before the friends arrive
- Pick the theme they are into. K-Pop Star is preselected. Mystery Detective and Space Explorer are also popular with this age.
- Choose sleepover spots. Preview two spots for free, such as the sleeping bags and the snack cupboard.
- Hide during dinner. Print and cut in advance. Hide the cards while the children eat, then hand over card one.
Good to know
The cards say "Happy birthday" on the cover, because the hunt is made as a birthday activity. It fits best at a birthday sleepover.
Common questions
Is it only for birthday sleepovers?
The hunt is designed for a birthday and the cover carries a birthday greeting with the child's name. For a regular sleepover it still plays the same, but the greeting stays.
What is a good ending spot?
Somewhere the evening continues: the popcorn, the movie, a small bag of favors, or the sleeping bags.
Which level for 9 and 10-year-olds?
Detective. It has four-line riddles and a mini puzzle at every stop.
What do I see before I pay?
The theme character and two of your own hiding spots as illustrated clue cards, free and without a card. The full printable hunt is $29.99 (was $34.99).
