A Birthday Treasure Hunt as a Gift for Your Grandchild
A toy is opened in a minute. A treasure hunt with their own name on it is half an hour of the birthday itself. You can order it from anywhere, as long as someone at their house tells you where the clues can hide and prints the pages.

Why it works as a gift from far away
- It arrives by email as a PDF, so there is no parcel to post and nothing to get lost.
- The cover wishes your grandchild a happy birthday by first name.
- The clues lead through their own home, to spots the parents choose.
- You can put your own present at the end of the trail as the treasure.
Sample clues from a gift hunt
- Reading chair: Ember curled up for a story or two, the reading chair has a clue for you!
- Cookie jar: Ember smelled something baked with care, peek by the cookie jar, if you dare!
- Front hall: Ember heard the doorbell, ding dong ding, the front hall hides the next little thing!
Two ways to give it
- Ask for the hiding spots. Ask the parents for ten places in their home where a card can hide, or keep the common spots we suggest, such as the couch and the bookshelf.
- Order it with your own email. Fill in the child's first name, age and theme, check the free preview, and pay. The PDF and its download link come to your inbox.
- Forward it to the parents. Forward the email so they can print and hide the cards. Or skip all this: send the parents this page and let them make it themselves.
What we do not offer
There is no gift card, no gift wrapping and no separate recipient address. The hunt goes to the email address you enter when you create it. Someone at the child's home needs a printer and about half an hour to print, cut and hide the cards.
Common questions
Can I buy it as a gift and have it sent to the parents?
Not directly. The PDF is emailed to the address you enter when you create the hunt. Enter your own and forward the email, or enter the parents' address if they know it is coming.
I do not know their house well. Is that a problem?
No. Ask the parents for ten hiding spots, or keep the suggested ones. The parents can check the route on the parent guide before they hide anything.
Can I add photos of their home?
Only if the parents send you photos of the spots. Photos are optional; without them we illustrate each spot from its description.
What do I see before I pay?
The theme character and two of your own hiding spots as illustrated clue cards, free and without a card. The full printable hunt is $29.99 (was $34.99).
